A+ Content
A+ Content replaces the plain product description with image and text modules — and on most listings it is treated as decoration. Brand banners, lifestyle photography, a paragraph about the founder's journey.
It converts when it does a specific job: answering the questions that stop someone buying, in the order they ask them.
What A+ is for
By the time a buyer scrolls to A+, they are interested but not convinced. Something is unresolved — whether it fits, how it compares, how long it lasts, what is in the box. A+ either resolves it or it does not.
What works
Comparison charts against your own range, so buyers choose a variant instead of leaving.
Dimension and scale modules that stop returns before they happen.
Objection-led sections drawn from your actual review and question history.
Text that is legible at mobile width, where most people will see it.
What does not
Brand-story banners with no product information.
Text baked into images at a size unreadable on a phone.
Repeating the bullet points in a nicer font.
Modules that describe the product without answering anything.
A+ image text is not indexed by Amazon search. What sits in the module text fields and alt text can be, which is a small ranking benefit — but conversion is the reason to do this properly.
How we build it
Read the objections
We go through your reviews, customer questions and returns reasons, and through competitors' negative reviews. That is where the real objections are — usually different from the ones the brand assumes.
What this produces: a list of what the page has to answer, ranked by frequency.
Plan the module sequence
Each module gets one job, ordered by how urgent the objection is. Comparison and sizing modules usually earn the highest positions; brand story earns its place at the bottom, if at all.
Design and copy together
Layouts built to Amazon's module dimensions, mobile-first, with copy written to be scanned rather than read. Then checked at phone width before submission, because that is where most A+ fails.
What determines the speed: whether existing product photography can be used or new assets are needed.
Publish and check
Submitted for Amazon's approval — claims that break their content policy are the usual rejection reason — then applied across the correct ASINs, and conversion measured before and after.
What determines the speed: Amazon's A+ review queue, typically a few days.
Brand Story and Premium A+
Brand Story is the separate carousel that sits above A+ and appears across all your ASINs. It is the right place for the brand narrative, and it cross-sells the rest of your range — which makes it more useful than putting the same content in the main A+ area.
Premium A+ adds video, hotspot modules, interactive comparison and larger imagery. Eligibility depends on your brand status and A+ performance rather than a fee. Where you qualify, the video and hover modules are genuinely different from standard A+ rather than a cosmetic upgrade.
You need Brand Registry
A+ Content requires Brand Registry enrolment. If you are not enrolled, that comes first — see Brand Registry. Wholesale sellers of other brands cannot add A+ to those listings; the brand owner controls that content.
Common questions
Does A+ Content actually increase sales?
Amazon's own guidance points to meaningful conversion improvement, and it matches what we see — but the size of the effect depends entirely on whether the modules answer real objections. Decorative A+ moves very little.
We measure session-to-purchase conversion before and after, so you can see what it did on your listings rather than relying on a general claim.
Do you design the graphics?
Yes — layout, graphics and copy. We work from your existing product photography where it is good enough, and tell you when it is not.
How many ASINs does one A+ cover?
A+ is applied per ASIN, but one design can be applied across a variation family or a product range with modest adaptation. We usually build a template per range rather than per ASIN.
Can A+ be rejected?
Yes, usually for claims Amazon's content policy does not allow — medical or performance claims, warranty language, pricing or promotional references, or contact details. We write to those rules from the start, and handle resubmission if something is flagged.
Will you update it later?
A+ is worth revisiting when the review profile changes, the range expands, or a competitor changes their page. It is not something to rebuild monthly.
